A stiff sentence handed out this week by a New York judge.
According to a report from the Batavia (N.Y.) News, a New York judge on Wednesday sentenced a 27-year-old woman to five years in prison for punching an elderly female greeter at a Walmart store in the face on Christmas Eve in 2011 after the greeter asked to see a receipt for the items the woman had purchased.
The woman was convicted of second-degree assault during a trial in August, according to the Batavia News report.
