A close call for the occupants of a vehicle traveling on a Minnesota ice road, according to a report from Granite Broadcasting sister station Northland's NewsCenter in Duluth, Minn.
According to the Northland's NewsCenter report:
The occupants of a car were able to escape their car as it was sinking in Lake Vermillion.
Police received two reports of a vehicle being disabled in deep water The occupants of the vehicle were able to get out of the vehicle and make it safely to shore.
The ice road has become unusable due to the warm weather
