Dunkin' Donuts Robber Foiled by Hot Coffee to the Face

A man robbed a Dunkin' Donuts off Route 11 just after 11:30pm last night.

A robbery foiled by. ... hot coffee?

According to a report from the New Haven (Conn.) Register, police said an attempted robbery of a Dunkin' Donuts in West Haven, Conn., over the weekend was foiled when a store clerk threw hot coffee in the suspect's face.
