Man Accused of Hitting Pedestrian With Car Following Argument

According to a report from Granite Broadcasting sister station WKBW in Buffalo, N.Y., a New York man has been arrested for allegedly intentionally striking a pedestrian with his vehicle Tuesday following an argument.

According to the WKBW report:

Police said a 31-year-old man was arrested and charged with vehicular assault, driving under the influence of drugs, and a number of traffic violations including leaving the scene of an injury accident.

Police say the suspect intentionally struck the pedestrian with his vehicle following an apparent dispute over drugs. According to investigators, the suspect fled the scene but crashed his vehicle a short time later..

The 34-year-old male pedestrian was taken to a hospital and is listed in critical condition.
