FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A Fort Wayne Army Captain is helping military personnel fight terrorists like never before.
31-year-old Captain Jonathan Springer recently developed the "Tactical Nav" app. That will soon assist soldiers in mapping, plotting and photographing waypoints in Afghanistan.
The app will be used by ground and air forces fighting the Taliban.
Indiana’s NewsCenter is waiting on a call back from Springer who says he spent his own money developing the app and believes it was worth the hefty price tag.
The app will likely be available for use next month.
