Midnight Deadline For Indiana Do Not Call List

INDIANA (Indiana's NewsCenter) - You have until midnight Tuesday night to list your phone number on the state's "Do Not Call" list.

The state law blocks telemarketing calls from pestering you at home, and easier for the state attorney general to prosecute scams.

Nearly 2-million Hoosiers are already on the "Do Not Call" list. Including nearly 69-percent of people living in the Fort Wayne area.

Call 1-888-834-9969 to register your number by midnight.

It will go into effect on the list, October first.
