ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A few months have past and the phones have been quiet but an ongoing phone scam is back again trying to trick area residents out of their private banking information.
Residents are receiving calls supposedly from Three Rivers Federal Credit Union stating that their banking information has been compromised and that they should speak with one of their advisers to help protect their account from further damage.
The call is a scam and is not from Three Rivers Federal Credit Union.
The Better Business Bureau suggests that callers who receive a similar call to just hang up.
