FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Raytheon engineers visited Shawnee Middle School students Thursday to talk about their jobs and what lessens they can learn in middle school that help them in their future careers .
The engineers showed students how middle school science lessons can be similar to what engineering and science careers are like.
Raytheon Chief Technologist Dave Peter says, “They'll be some students who'll remember what we've done maybe, and move this forward, you know, and help influence their future education decisions and the path that they take.”
Students learned about energy and gravity in the lesson. Next month Raytheon will be back at Shawnee to teach something new.
