Man Attempts to Rob Bank With Toilet Plunger, Police Say

According to the Utica (N.Y.) Observer-Dispatch, a 49-year-old man was charged with attempted third-degree robbery after allegedly attempting to rob a bank Thursday while armed with a toilet plunger.

The suspect was apprehended after a short chase, according to the report.
