According to a news release issued Tuesday, tech giant Apple reported a healthy profit for the recently concluded financial quarter.
Apple reported a net profit of $11.6 billion on quarterly revenue of $39.2 billion for the period ending March 31, 2012. Apple also announced that it sold 35.1 million iPhones and 11.8 million iPads during the quarter.
