This isn't part of his regular job duties. But a Seattle garbage truck driver should be commended for his actions last Thursday.
According to Seattle television station KOMO, the garbage truck driver rescued a baby in a runaway stroller that got loose on the top of a hilly street and was headed toward a busy intersection. The man used his truck to block traffic and then jumped out and ran to save baby, according to the KOMO report.
