Police: Woman Drives Car Into Golf Course Sand Trap, Blames GPS

Too much to drink? Or a faulty GPS?

According to a story in the Worcester (Mass.) Telegram and Gazette, a 46-year-old Massachusetts woman has been arrested and charged with drunken driving after getting her car stuck in a sand trap at a golf course on Monday.

The woman allegedly told police the her GPS turned her to turn into a cornfield and that she eventually wound up in the sand trap, according to the Telegram & Gazette story. Police allegedly found a large cup containing an alcoholic beverage in the woman's car, according to the report.
