Man Accused of Shooting at Boys Who Were Setting Off Fireworks

Fireworks apparently led to gunshots in St. Louis last week.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, a 56-year-old man is facing multiple charges for allegedly shooting a gun at a group of three boys he believed were shooting off fireworks last Thursday. An 11-year-old boy was hospitalized after being shot on the left side of his body, according to the Post-Dispatch report.

The man is charged with three counts of first-degree assault and three counts of armed criminal action, according to the Post-Dispatch story.
