Alligator Bites Off Arm of Teen Swimmer

He's lucky to be alive after an encounter with an alligator.

According to Florida television station WBBH, a 17-year-old Florida boy had a portion of his right arm bitten off by an alligator while he was swimming in a Florida river on Monday.

The boy lost his arm from the elbow down, according to the WBBH report. The 10-foot alligator was found and killed, according to the WBBH report.
