A doctor died a hero over the weekend.
According to the Chicago Tribune, a 50-year-old pediatric surgeon from Chicago drowned Sunday after saving a pair of children from Lake Michigan. The doctor and his family were vacationing in Michigan at the time of the incident, according to the Chicago Tribune report.
