Police: Infant Falls Off Second-Story Roof While Babysitter Sleeps

A 2-year-old Connecticut boy is lucky to be alive.

According to a report from the Hartford Courant, police said the boy fell off a second-story roof after climbing out of a  window why his babysitter allegedly was asleep. The boy suffered multiple injuries -- including a fractured skull -- but is expected to recover, according to the Hartford Courant report.

The babysitter -- a 25-year-old woman -- has been charged with risk of injury to a minor, according to the Courant report.
