Man Accused of Crashing Into Police Car, Pulling Gun on Officer During Struggle

According to a news release issued by the St. Petersburg (Fla.) Police Department, a 22-year-old Florida man was taken into custody late last month in connection with an incident in which he allegedly crashed a vehicle into a police car, and then allegedly pulled a gun during a struggle with an officer after fleeing the scene.

The man is charged with Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer, Resisting Arrest with Violence, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Injuries, according to the news release.
