Hospital Bills Woman $83,000 for Scorpion Sting Treatment

Ouch. And ouch.

According to a report from the Arizona Republic, a woman was billed more than $83,000 by an Arizona hospital after being treated for a scorpion sting in June. The woman received two doses of scorpion antivenom at more than $39,000 apiece, according to the Arizona Republic report.

The hospital has since said it plans to adjust the woman's bill, according to the Arizona Republic.
