Young Girl Contracts Bubonic Plague While Camping

A little girl is lucky to be alive after contracting bubonic plague.

According to a report from Colorado television station WUSA, the 7-year-old girl contracted the plague while attempted to bury a dead squirrel at a campground. Doctors are hopeful the girl will soon be able to leave the hospital, according to the WUSA report.
