A strange story out of Louisiana.
According to a report from Louisiana television station KSLA, police allege that a Louisiana man shot his wife in order to help her avoid military duty.
The 26-year-old husband is facing a charge of illegal use of a weapon, while his 25-year-old wife is facing a charge of criminal mischief, according to the KSLA report. The woman suffered gunshot wounds to the legs, according to the KSLA report.
