Man Jumps in River to Avoid Being Attacked by Girlfriend, Police Say

A unique escape route for a Florida man.

According to a report from the Daytona Beach (Fla.) News-Journal, police said a Florida man jumped into a river earlier this week to avoid being attacked by his girlfriend. The woman was charged with battery in connection with the incident, according to the Daytona Beach News-Journal report.
