A tragic story from Pennsylvania, courtesy of Granite Broadcasting sister station WBNG in Binghamton, N.Y.
According to the WBNG report:
A man from Missouri was killed by the tree he was trying to clear out of the way for a natural gas pipeline. It happened in Burlington Township, Pa., just before1 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
The Bradford County Coroner said 42-year-old Kenneth Donovan Elliot was working just off the Berwick Turnpike on a Chief Oil site when a tree he was cutting down kicked back, struck him in the head and knocked him to the ground and killed him.
Elliot worked for the Midway Oilfield out of Midway, Texas.
His death has been ruled accidental.
