A shocking story from Pennsylvania, courtesy of Granite Broadcasting sister station WBNG in Binghamton, N.Y.
According to the WBNG report:
A man is facing animal cruelty charges after allegedly shooting his neighbor's black lab.
On Dec. 30, Pennslyvannia State Police responded to a report of a shot dog at a home. Upon arrival, it was found that the dog had suffered a gunshot wound to the chest.
Police say a 32-year-old man shot the dog with a 22 caliber rifle, when it crossed onto his property. Charges of cruelty to animals will be filed against the suspect.
The dog is expected to make a full recovery.
