Taking a Bite Out of Crime: Alligator Attacks Man Fleeing Traffic Stop

Police finally caught up with a man who allegedly fled from officers during a traffic stop Thursday -- with the help of an alligator.

According to a report from TBO.com, police said a 20-year-old man who allegedly exited his vehicle and fled from police during a traffic stop on Thursday was attacked by an alligator during his escape.

Police caught up with the man hours later after he was being treated for bite wounds to his face, arm and armpit at a local hospital, according to the TBO.com report. The man is facing multiple charges, including fleeing and eluding a police officer, according to the TBO.com report.
