An amazing video was captured of flood waters crashing through the entrance to Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg, Ill.

According to a report from Granite Broadcasting sister station CINewsNow.com in Peoria, Ill, Carl Sandburg College has canceled classes through May 31 at the Main Campus in Galesburg, including the Children’s School, due to damaged sustained during Tuesday's flash flooding.

A post on the college's website says, "We are very grateful for the outpouring of support from the Sandburg community with people offering to volunteer; however, until we have all of the debris cleaned up we ask that you please not come to campus as safety is critical."

No one was injured.
