An amazing story from New Mexico this month.

According to a report from Albuquerque television station KRQE-TV, a New Mexico woman survived and delivered a baby girl shortly after being struck by lightning while watching fireworks in the front yard of an Albuquerque home on July 4.

The woman, who was two weeks from her due date, was taken to a hospital where she delivered the child via c-section, according to KRQE. The infant is still being monitored in the hospital but is expected to be OK, according to the KRQE-TV report.
