Motorcycle Racer Dies After Crashing During Attempt to Reach 300 mph

A tragic story from Maine on Sunday.

According to a report from the Bangor Daily News, a 44-year-old motorcycle racer from Florida was killed on Sunday in Limestone, Maine, in a crash during a speed trial during an annual race.

The racer was attempting to reach 300 mph in the span of one mile at the time of the crash, according to the report from the Bangor Daily News.
