A strange story from Florida last week.

According to a news release from the Ocala (Fla.) Police Department, authorities said a 42-year-old Florida man was arrested after allegedly attempting to rob a gas station while brandishing a "gun" made out of cardboard and tin foil.

According to the news release from the Ocala PD:

The suspect pointed with a hand covered by a hat at first and then pulled out what was later discovered to be cardboard covered in tin foil, and pointed it at the clerk, as well. The suspect was unsuccessful in getting into the cash register; he ended up taking a donation can containing change from the counter and fleeing on a bicycle. No one was injured in the incident.
