INDIANAPOLIS (www.incnow.tv) – An Indianapolis bar got more than it bargained for when excise police found 80 minors inside—some as young as 13-years-old.
Police say when they arrived at Early Bird Bar and Grill, 8311 N. Michigan Rd., around 1:45 Sunday morning, the minors were drinking alcohol.
Police initially went to the bar to investigate a flyer advertising a 13-year-old girl's birthday party.
Eighty arrests were made, and more than a dozen are also being charged for illegal consumption or possession of alcohol.
Excise police will seek revocation of Early Bird Bar and Grill's alcoholic-beverage permit when the case is reviewed by the alcohol and tobacco commission.
