BOSTON, Mass. (21Alive) -- Prosecutors say Dzhokhar Tsarnaev trial denied his role in the Boston bombings just 90 minutes after the two blasts tore apart the finish line of the Boston Marathon.

Evidence of a text message sent to Tsarnaev's college roommate was submitted today in court that read " “Don’t go thinking it’s me you cooked bastard."

Prosecutors are saying that the message was sent 90 minutes after the bombings and is the earliest denial by Tsarnaev. This claim was made in the trial of Tsarnaev's roommate Azmat Tazhayakov who is facing charges of obstructing justice for allegedly removing evidence from Tsarnaev's dorm room.

Both Tazhayakov and Tsarnaev have pleaded not guilty. Tsarnaev faces 30 charges, including a charge of using a weapon of mass destruction.
