UNDATED (www.incnow.tv) – The Boy Scouts have delayed their vote on whether to allow openly gay leaders and scouts in its ranks.
The organization is attributing the delay to the quote “complexity of the issue.” As meetings between BSA leaders were taking place in Dallas this week, it became clear that the proposal to drop the long time ban would be unacceptable to a large number of impassioned scouting families.
Meanwhile advocates for the repeal of the ban say “discrimination will prevail” everyday the organization sits on the issue. The Boy Scouts are expecting to take another shot at a vote during their annual meeting in May.
