Chicago (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A teen in Chicago is accused of trying to detonate a car bomb in downtown Chicago over the weekend.
Police say 18-year-old Adel Daoud wanted to kill Americans in a packed bar and posted his intentions on the internet.
They say he drove an SUV to the entrance, walked a-block away and tried to detonate the device.
He didn't know the bomb was a fake, provided by undercover FBI
agents.
Former FBI Agent, Brad Garrett said, “Extremists believe that if you are not part of their philosophy, then you are against them. So they typically will pick targets where they believe non-believers will be."
Police say Daoud eventually posted about the location, saying the "evilest" of people would be there.
