NEW ORLEANS, La. (www.incnow.tv) – The images from the 2010 Deep Water Horizon oil spill will never be forgotten and BP could soon be paying for its involvement.
The civil trial against the oil giant begins Monday in New Orleans. The goal is pinpointing the causes of the explosion that killed 11 workers and led to millions of barrels of oil polluting the Gulf of Mexico.
BP has already agreed to a 4.5 billion dollar settlement for federal criminal charges. Depending on the outcome of this trial, BP could pay billions more.
