ASBURY PARK, N.J. (www.incnow.tv) -- Nationwide Planning Associates Inc. has found a purpose for an unused closet by turning it into a nap room for its 20 employees.
According to an article in USA Today, the company added a recliner, water fountain and bamboo rug to the closet so the employees could use the space for "restorative" time. Employees sign up for 20-minute blocks of time and according to the report, emerge from the nap room revitalized and with more energy.
The company created the nap room to help its employees fight afternoon fatigue.
One of the employees told USA Today that he doesn't ever drink coffee anymore because he doesn't need to after his 20 minutes of rest.
