INTERNET (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - 132-years ago Swedish-American Gideon Sundback was born. Sundback later became an electrical engineer and the father of “the modern zipper.”
Internet search giant Google is honoring Sundback with its latest Doogle, an interactive zipper. While the interactive zipper may not work on all internet browsers due to HTML5 the Google homepage appears with a stitched logo and a zipper. When the interactive zipper is clicked and dragged the homepage falls away revealing the result page for Sundback.
