Washington D.C. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Washington D.C. Police and the Secret Service are looking into a disturbing remark that an officer made, potentially threatening First Lady Michelle Obama.

The officer is a 17-year department veteran who worked as a motorcade escort for the White House.

He's been placed on administrative duty after he allegedly said he would shoot the First Lady after he was asked why he was late for a motorcade assignment.

He apparently showed fellow officers a picture of the gun he would use on his cell phone.

It isn't clear if the officer had any intent to carry out the threat, but his police powers have been revoked while the investigation is ongoing.
