Defiance, OHIO (www.incnow.tv) -Making a grand play for votes in Northwest Ohio.
In Defiance Thursday, Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney got a rousing welcome from thousands of voters.
They packed into the Defiance High School football stadium to try and help Mitt Romney earn a political prize, a win in Ohio.
" What an honor to be here with you this evening. I'm so appreciative of your being here and showing your support. This sends a message not just across Ohio, but across the whole country. This campaign is growing, the momentum is building, we're taking back America, and it's coming soon,” said Romney, who was cheered wildly.
The visit to Defiance was one of three stops in Ohio Thursday by Governor Romney, who is aware as anyone that Republicans who want to win the White House have needed to win the Buckeye State too.
Romney has stayed true to one message here and across the country: that the nation's economy will be in better hands the next four years if Romney is in charge, rather than President Obama.
" I'm going to get America back on track to an honest, balanced budget and make sure we don't pass on those burdens to our kids."
The crowd was about as partisan as it gets. But among those in the audience, there were a few still making up their minds about who to vote for November 6th.
" I think the job issue, what Mitt's going to do for women, is one of my huge concerns," said Beth McGhee, an undecided voter.
" I'm 66 years old, I depend on Social Security, I depend on Medicare, and it's going to be rough if we can't get rid of that guy that's in there, and somebody can't get rid of Obamacare," said Gary Yarbrough, who is backing Romney.
The legendary rock band “Meatloaf” rocked the spectators, but there was also a sales pitch.
" I want you to know that there is one man who will stand tall in this country, and fight the storm, and bring the United States back to what it should be. Governor Mitt Romney," screamed out lead singer Meatloaf.
The event is one of a tidal wave of campaign rallies playing out across America.
Will Mitt Romney be celebrating when it's all over?
The next 12 days will provide the answer.
