Los Angeles (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A group of Los Angeles sanitation workers made a unique deposit to a bank.
Several demonstrators attempted to deliver the bags of trash to the Los Angels headquarters of the Bank of New York Mellon.
The workers say the bank is ignoring a city ordinance requiring it to keep foreclosed properties clean.
The protesters were met with some resistance from building security but managed to deliver the trash into the lobby.
The Los Angeles City Council is scheduled to vote on amendments to strengthen the city's foreclosure registry ordinance Wednesday.
