Undated (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A new survey shows that more new dads did not take time off of work when their child was born.
According CareerBuilder’s Annual Father's Day Survey, two in five working fathers who had a child in the last three years did not take any paternity leave.
The survey also shows that for the fathers who did take time off 59 percent took one week or less. Also, 47 percent said they felt pressured by their company to return to work early.
However, 35 percent reported that they would be a stay-at-home dad if their spouse or partner made enough money to support the family, which is down from 37 percent in 2008.
