FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Allen County Coroner's Office has identified the victim of a fatal shooting Saturday in Fort Wayne.
Jerry W. Barker, 43 of Fort Wayne, was found shot to death in a car in the 900 block of Herman Street around 1:30 p.m. His death has been ruled a homicide.
Witnesses tell police they heard gunshots, and saw someone running from the scene.
Officers found Barker sitting in the dirver's seat of an idling car, bleeding from his wounds. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
Police are still looking for a suspect.
