FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - Another win for republican Phyllis Pond Tuesday evening.
Pond now becomes the longest serving republican in the Indiana House of Representatives. She has served the 85th District since 1978. Now that Uniondale representative Jeff Espich has retired, Pond is expected to inherit some of the clout and honors he was given as the previous longest serving GOP member of the house.
Pond is looking forward to "breaking in" the new governor on how to not spend more money than you take in.
