FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – A new spring tradition kicks off at the Auburn Auction park, this weekend.
It's the Auburn Spring Collector Car Auction, swap meet and car corral.
Auctions America by RM and Carlisle Events are hosting. 500 cars and motorcycles will go under the gavel.
Owners of Auctions America bought the property, formerly owned by Dean Kruse, last summer.
They say they hope to revive the mystique of the park.
Donnie Gould President, of Auctions America says, “I've been coming here since I was a kid and it would've been a shame to se this go by the wayside and we saw it as an opportunity to acquire the property and bring the event back to life again.”
Major league baseball hall of famer, Mr. October, Reggie Jackson will be there auctioning his 1965 Shelby mustang GT 350.
