FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Christmas came early for twenty local "head start" families.

Each year Head Start employees pack a school bus full of donated gifts from the Allen County Christmas Bureau. But this year they were thrilled to need two buses to carry all the items.

LaToya Watson who received assistance says, “For us, it really doesn't matter. It's for the kids. We are just thankful they put it together to help us. We go to school here too and we are just very thankful and blessed. That's all we can be because it's a lot."

Employees say there were more donations this year than ever before.
