Fort Wayne, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - A Fort Wayne church leader is being targeted in a lawsuit filed by members of his own congregation.

The suit alleges Reverend Sam Shade Jr. of Pilgrim Baptist Church spent church funds on improvements to his personal home, after the church's board told him he couldn't, and then suspended those board members.

It also claims the church refused to provide public records to the church members listed in the suit.

We reached out to Rev. Shade Friday. He said he was meeting with his lawyer and declined to speak with us on camera.
