Fort Wayne, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - There’s special news to report about the continuing support for the 21Alive Coats 4 Kids program.

The giving continues on Wednesday as a large load of coats is expected to be dropped-off at the Scott's on North Clinton.

Currently the program has 1,456 coats collected, not including those recently cleaned at Peerless Cleaners.

But more coats, hats, scarves and gloves are needed to help keep local children warm this winter.

Some cash donations are expected to continue through the deadline next week.

Not everyone can afford a decent winter coat and that's where you come in.

Drop-off sites are located at Peerless Cleaners, Kroger and Scott's stores, the Volunteer Center and here at the 21Alive station.
