INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- It's heating up at the Statehouse as Democrats call for a statewide referendum on the Right to Work legislation.
House Minority leader Pat Bauer met with the media Friday morning after discussing a proposed amendment that Democrats would like to debate, on the floor next week.
Brian Bosma says, “It takes not just debate, it takes civil debate. It takes responsible presence in a vote and that's what we intend to do accomplish with right to work this year."
The amendment would ask voters of Indiana if it should become the 23rd state to ban union contracts that include mandatory representation fees.
