Grant County, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – The Grant County Coroner’s Office has released the identity of the man who was in the fatal vehicle accident along I-69 near Gas City on July 20th, 2012.
The victim was identified as Kevin B. Daugherty, 51, of Greenfield, IN.
Investigators believe that Daugherty had just finished work at the Marion GM plant and was returning home when the crash occurred.
Daugherty’s death has been ruled accidental.
The Buick LeSabre driven by Daugherty was rear ended by a box truck, pushing Daugherty’s vehicle underneath the semi truck in front of him.
