HANOVER, N.H. (www.incnow.tv) - Former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop dies at the age of 96.
As the nation’s leading spokesperson of public health during the Reagan administration, Koop became perhaps the best-known surgeon general in history. He focused America’s attention on the growing aids epidemic and railed against smoking.
He died in his New Hampshire home.
