FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - The number of bank robberies in Fort Wayne has increased in 2012.

Police believe it's the work of serial robbers.

Our partners in news The Journal Gazette reports that there have been 15 bank and credit union robberies this year.

That's more this year than the past four years combined, and authorities have noticed some trends.

Eleven of the robberies occurred early in the morning when employees were arriving for work.

In six of the robberies, men arrived in pairs covering their heads with hats to conceal their identity.

And six of the fifteen took place at a Chase bank.

Police say there are many people under investigation for the recent bank robberies.
