Getting Hearts Pumping For American Heart Association

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – Plenty of people laced up their walking shoes to take part in the 2013 Northeast Indiana Heart Walk.

The non-competitive walk was put on by the American Heart Association and was located at Ivy Tech's North campus Saturday morning.

It featured one and three-mile routes along with a kid zone, blood pressure screenings, stroke assessments, and heart healthy food sampling.
